Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to request the deletion of any data associated with you by Play-Pause Hockey, including data related to our Meta application Play-Pause Publisher (App ID 1219401053597688).

What Play-Pause Publisher Does

Play-Pause Publisher is a private, internal tool. Its only function is to publish our own editorial content to the Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts that we own and operate. It is not a consumer product, it has no public sign-up, and it offers no features to visitors of this site.

What We Store

The application does not operate a user database. We do not collect, store, or process personal information belonging to Facebook or Instagram users. The only credentials the application holds are the access tokens for our own Pages and accounts, which identify us and no one else.

If you previously authorized this application with your own Facebook account, the application is not designed to retain personal data from that authorization. If you believe we hold data about you, contact us using the process below and we will check and confirm.

How to Request Deletion

To request deletion of any data you believe we may hold, email [email protected] with the subject line Data Deletion Request, and include:

• the name on your Facebook or Instagram account, and
• a brief description of the data you want removed.

We will review the request and reply within 30 days confirming what was deleted, or confirming that no data matching your request is held.

Removing the Application Yourself

You can revoke this application's access at any time from your own Facebook account, under Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites. Removing it there ends any connection between your account and the application immediately.
